SALON exhibited over 100 artworks by 80 artists, with a focus on selling.
An edition of 30 screen printed bags with text sourced from ongoing research into the experience of living with HIV. Responses to the question ‘how would you describe living with HIV ?’ were selected and re-ordered into the opaque statement ‘RECKLESS UNDERCOVER SLUT’. Bags circulated the artwork beyond the gallery with purchasers literally carrying it around.
